Last week, during a flight, the aircraft was guided to block-in at an open spot by a marshaller. The ground crew noticed liquid leaking from the aircraft, which was identified as a fuel leak from the right engine.
Subsequently, a fire warning appeared in the cockpit, and the mechanic also discovered fire coming from the right engine and informed the cockpit crew.
The fire spread to the wing, and passengers began evacuating through the left doors using the steps.
During the emergency evacuation, one of the slide rafts failed to deploy. The pilots evacuated through the cockpit window using escape ropes. Smoke was also seen coming out of the open door.
