JL330 is descending from FL250 to FL220 and is handed off to a new frequency (119.1). On initial contact, ATC instructs: Hold over XAC as published, descend to 10,000 ft. During the hold, fuel reaches minimum — the crew requests the active runway (RW34R). ATC issues an EFC time and descent to 4,000 ft. Fuel then becomes critical, and the crew declares MAYDAY FUEL.
